Kidnap Catholic Rev Fathers Regain Freedom After Allegedly Paying N10M Ransom

Two Reverend Fathers of the Catholic church kidnapped by suspected gunmen at Agbarha-Otor in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta state have been released by their kidnappers.

The Reverend fathers, Rev. Fr. Raphael Ogigbah, parish priest of St. Francis Catholic Parish Agbarha-Otor, Catholic Diocese of Warri, and Rev. Fr. Kunav Chochos, the Schoenstartt Fathers were abducted last Saturday night.

It was learned that gathered that they were released on Thursday after a ransom of N10 million was allegedly paid.

A source from the Church who confirmed the release of the Reverend Fathers held that they were released from the den of their kidnappers toward Sapele.

The Delta state Police Image Maker, DSP Edafe Bright could not be contacted for comment if ransom was paid to secure the release as at the time if this report.
